ByteDance has officially launched TikTok Video, a standalone long-form video platform designed to compete directly with YouTube in the US market. The platform supports videos up to four hours in length and features a creator monetization program that offers revenue splits of up to 55 percent, exceeding YouTube's standard 45 percent share for most creators.

The launch comes with exclusive content deals involving several high-profile creators and media companies, including a reported $50 million partnership with MrBeast's production company for first-window content. The platform also features an AI-powered dubbing tool that automatically translates and lip-syncs content into multiple languages.

Industry analysts see the move as ByteDance's attempt to diversify its US revenue streams amid ongoing regulatory uncertainty surrounding TikTok's short-form video platform.
