Apple has announced a $1,000 price reduction for its Vision Pro mixed reality headset, bringing the entry-level model to $2,499. The move comes as the company seeks to accelerate adoption beyond early enthusiasts and establish the device as a mainstream computing platform.

Alongside the price cut, Apple revealed a suite of new enterprise applications developed in partnership with SAP, Salesforce, and Adobe that leverage the headset's spatial computing capabilities for data visualization, design collaboration, and remote training. Enterprise sales have accounted for nearly 60% of Vision Pro revenue to date.

Industry analysts view the price reduction as a necessary step to grow the installed base ahead of the expected launch of a more affordable Vision model in early 2027, which is rumored to target a sub-$1,500 price point.
